I have more than 11 years of results-driven experience in
marketing and communications leadership and execution, including:
• Launching
a new, local United Way brand – LIVE UNITED – and having 97% of materials in
brand compliance within a year. Within two years, brand adoption polls showed
unaided recall of the brand among givers, advocates and volunteers was more
than 85%.
• Implementing
two successful advertising campaigns for a Middle School Success initiative.
The 2012 campaign resulted in a 300% increase in Facebook likes in one week and
a 200% increase in training participants within four weeks.
• Developing
a United Way messaging strategy around donor-directed gifts to the Community
Investment Fund that resulted in a 22% decrease in designations to funded
501(c)3s in 2011.
• Creating
the first comprehensive training toolkit for Loaned Executives and volunteers
and developing strategies for giving appeals in workplace, CEO visit and
fundraising event settings.
• Revamping
the process for material, event and multimedia production to focus the
department and the organization around a focus on purpose, audience and content,
allowing for the creation and measurement of more than 200 communication pieces
per year.
